No need to eat crow. I used to be a sports writer. I once picked a football team in a preseason preview to finish top of their conference. They finished in the cellar. I heard about it more than a few times. It's just part of the game. **** it. You wrote a damn good article and a lot of the reporters ringside would say you called it.

Calzaghe barely squeezed a win against a man who is close to half a century years old. Calzaghe is great!

Like I said, I wish the psyche ward docs would give him his computer privileges back, even for a couple hours a week.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

It seems I am not the only one drunk.

To Slothrop: I am a big Calzaghe fan, but Hopkins impressed me tonight.......Big time. He's a crafty SOB. I can't give props to one fighter without giving props to the other.

Thanks Fedor...you know how convinced I was of Hops winning. That Hops was doing so well early had me more convinced I was a genius.

    What can I say?

    Impressive!

How can you be disappointed in his performance? I although a fan was expected him to lose because his diminished workrate at 43 and Joe being the more agressive fighter with a more consistent high workrate..Bernard is freaking 43 years old. Im just taking solace in the fact that at fighter of his advanced age was able to last the whole fight when many people were predicting him to be stopped for the first time in his career

Bernard has nothing to be ashamed of:deal

    Streams of conflicted thought???

You said it!!! Credit where credit is due. Very few beat B-Hop and he was a Real MW Champ/LHW Champ.

This is exactly what I feared and why I listened to my head. Happy to hear Hop's did put up a fight and THERE WAS NO KO as some picked:nono

An Sues, much respect to ya bra!! You hung in there as 1000% Hop's fan. I salute!! I just couldnt afford to lose again, had to do it:hey

I can't watch a big fight without drinking it up.
