Kessler better get back in the ring then... Cause he's gonna have to go on to achieve a lot more for him to be a TRUE great fight in Joe Cal's career... Same with Lacy. If they both BURN, damn, he got nothing really except for an old Eubank and Hops (provided he wins, of course).

And I'd bet EVERYTHING I own (not so small) that Kessler wouldn't beat Hops in 5... You obviously never seen a Hops fight. No ONE in boxing today barring maybe heavyweights would stop Hopkins. No one, including the ALMIGHTY and ILLUSTRIOUS (I've never fought anybody worth a damn till my last fight) Joe Calzaghe won't stop him. Beat him, but not stop him.

Hopkins would win. This is guy who is drven and takes care of his body. He is running five miles every morning whether he has a fight coming up or not. He never looks bloated in his face between fights like most other fighters. He is always dieting and staying in shape. He is the youngest 43 year old around. I think stylistically Hopkins is all wrong for Calzaghe. Yes, his comment about white boys was silly. But this is not an IQ contest outside the ring. Hopkins' boxing smarts are second to none as well as his street smarts certainly are. He will beat Calzaghe when they meet this April.

OMG 'unstoppable' must be hallucinating. I feel sorry for JC's fans who think he have such an easy time in this fight. Comparing the outcome to what happened when JC beat Lacey and Kessler. They are just rooting for their man to win and also subconciously rooting against the 'big bad american.' Many came away disappointed after the Maywhether-Hatton beatdown and they will suffer a similar result in this one I'm sorry to inform them.

Sardu, I'm sorry mate but you're talking bollocks, simply because you're predicting the outcome of the fight already. Why bother? You could be completely wrong. Easily. And what makes you think Joe doesn't take care of himself when he isn't fighting? The guy is ALWAYS in shape.

And I hope your avatar isn't serious. It's gay, to say the least.

What? You think guidos are gay? That is pure sacrilege! Nah, just kidding - my avatar is pretty gay-looking. Okay, then back to the fight. This is true that Calzaghe is also a guy who stays in excellent shape at all times - even between fights. I just think that his quality of opposition is inferior to that of Hopkins. This difference will be telling in the fight IMO.

    Hopkins was impressive vs Tarver.

But lets not forget Tarver is a very lazy fighter and barely throws any punches..so it doesnt prove he'll out score Calzaghe.

You're entitled to your opinion. Although I don't think either one will stop the other inside the distance. By the way, two of those guidos in that pic look like they belong in a wax museum - unbelievable!

Kessler from JC vs. Kessler fight beats both Tarver and current Hopkins IMO.

You know what I'm referring to. You don't have to use naivete and sarcasm to drive your point home. You did just that by comparing yourself with Hopkins in that you also stay in shape. Kessler AND Calzaghe would BOTH stop Hopkins IYO? Does Hopkins have to fight them both on the same night? I can be a sarcastic smartass too if need be. Hopkins is not fighting Kessler so saying Kessler would knock him out is meaningless to this debate. I don't deal in hypothetical situations. Calzaghe convincingly defeated Kessler already as we all well know. Now he is fighting Hopkins who is a step up in class IMO.
