We? Are you pregnant? Speak for yourself, dude. I give credit to Hopkins for making it from where he came from but that doesn't make me blind to everything about him. You come across as one of those knucklehead brothers that think it's crime to say anything negative about another brother. You need to grow the f up.

This clown basically tried to question Hops heart by implying who Hop chose and chose not to fight using words like "judicious and selective" when Hop was picking opponents. And I can bet you that he's basing this clown opinion off of the Cal and Dawson fights I guess lol...and then says he was surprised that he fought Kovalev!!!??? LMMFAO!!!

Why didn't you think that Hop would fight Kovalev?

Imhop, Bernard Hopkins ALWAYS had problems with fighters that were quicker, were close to his size and had higher work rates. His losses would always indicate that.

Hopkins went on his stretch of KO's and Middleweight dominance immediately after the Jones loss.

Therefore I say his prime was from Jones until somewhere around Tito.

Hopkins was beaten by Jones with 1 hand. He would never stand a chance against Jones at 160. Never.

The younger Hopkins put so much pressure on fighters that he forgot that he could actually box. As he got older he was able to use the jab, throw a big left hook and time you with his right hand. He also uses angles now and circles something that he didn't do when he was younger.

Who wouldn't. And his losses don't indicate that.

    The question should be
    When was Hopkins the best
    Light heavy he could be

Making Hop become the aggressor as he got older was his downfall. Kov and Jones Jr are the only guys who took it to Hop, and countered him effectively when they had to. One beat an aggressive Hop and the other beat a counterpunching Hop. both were able to stunt his attacks and counter.

Yes they do: Dawson, Calzaghe, Taylor, even Jones at middle.
