Hop just salty. In the meantime old man, why don't YOU challenge the winner of Kov/Ward? Oh yeah, that's right, you don't want to face Kov a second time, do you? Salty ol *******.

Personally I would like to see 3G move up and fight Ward or Kov! I think he is good enough to make the fights with those guys very interesting. Dude is impressive! The biggest challenge he has at 160 is getting other top guys at 160 to face him! I think he will lose out waiting for the other belts! I would hate to see a talent like G waste away waiting for guys that have absolutely no intention of fighting him. I think it would be more impressive if he were to fight 9 more times before he retires and gets 2 more belts in 2 more divisions beating the likes of Degale, Ward and Kov, while remaining undefeated and all by ko! can he do it, that is the question!

No, of course not. But it's unfair to ask him to target the winner of Andre-Kov.

Bernard would never have done that in GG's position.

When he leaves MW, I'll take great delight in bumping threads like this, that will make you look like an absolute fool.

GGG is not in that class to take a step up like this. Talent wise he is...but, he isn't a risk taker. Just happy with collecting his belts.

If he were at 168 at least, perhaps, a c/w could be arranged. But, don't ever expect to see GGG in blockbuster fights like this, unless the opponent is at a disadvantage. That's been the course thus far, and it's just wishful thinking on Hopkins' part to expect that to ever change.

Great idea. He has great skills, has the power and chin of a LHW. Hopkins, RJJ, Toney etc all moved up and did okay.

We know Kovalev's chin is not the greatest, and I'm a huge fan of him. I think Golovkin would be able to keep him in check with his power, and he might be able to knock him down several times during the fight since he is so often out of balance. That's a fight I would certainly love to see.

He stands a much better shot against Kovalev than he does Ward because of styles.
