Just watched the fight, I was wondering what was going on after Hopkins won and gave the belt back to Pascal. Seemed a bit odd to me. Been any commentary on why he did that?
During a press conference Pascal handed his belt to Hopkins. It was a bad move because hopkins took it home with him and kept it there. Pacal got his old belt back.
He did that also because, in my mind it was the things to do, no other boxer in the world would risk an optional fight against Bernard. Pascal did, he deserved alot of credit for what he did. Bernard is a legend but to be a legend, you need to beat champion. In my mind, Pascal is a hell of one. I chear for Pascal as everyone know but no other fight I been withness gave me butterfly like this. Even in the end, when Pascal heard the verdict, everything happened in that ring after the fight was magic. Pascal was classy, Hopkins was classy, what the hell a fight fan could ask for more? Bottom line, I'm a fight fan, every fight fan in the world should happy with this fight.
