Now that he's been exposed and every boxer on the planet knows how to KO this fool, let's move on to better things... I mean come on, what a glass shoulder... But seriously, the impression I got was that he was happy to get out of the fight. Oh, and Dawson is Gangsta, said it himself... Saw how he shouldered Hopkins and made him fall? That's gangsta **** right there fool! It even seemed intentional as he appeared to be holding Hopkins leg while throwing him to the canvas... Another example of how a foul (yeah I'd say it's definitely a foul, like Gayweather's cheap shot...), ruined a night of boxing... As always, well, as most often, the winner are those who don't buy the PPV.
Let's be honest, that shoulder was and always will be a hype job - a KO waiting to happen. Golden Boy can pay off whoever they want to talk about Hopkins' shoulder as if it were a legitimate pfp contender, but real boxing fans have always known better.
its not always about how hard you land, but how you land, hopkins could easly have made a shoulder injuri the way that he fell, what the hell i heard about people falling from 60 feet high and live, but some people who justa walked a line no more then 1 feet above the ground, break maby a leg
Hopkins shoulder was clearly an accident waiting to happen and the only surprise is it took so long before it was exposed. Hopkins is a glass-shouldered disgrace.
Off the top of my head I can recall - 1. Hopkins not being able to continue against R Allen for a NC 2. Hopkins lying on the floor for a while against A Echoles 3. Hopkins trying to fake injury to get time out against J Calzaghe 4. Hopkins lying on the floor pretending Jones Jnrs punch was behind the head. Now we have a similar scenario with Dawson
IMHO, Hopkins doesn't even fake very well... You'd think that with the practice he would... But nope... He should take some acting classes...
