Horrible fight for GGG, I'd rather have him continue to clean up 160.
168 is reserved for Ward or Froch only.

    That makes perfect sense.

Anyone who fights Hopkins is in a lose-lose situation right now.

    Jones? Trinidad? Tarver? Pavlik?

    I don't think so...

Golovkin absolutely tools Hopkins, with Bernard's corner throwing the towel in around the 8th or 9th.

I just don't see GGG KOing BHOP... Not gonna happen. As a matter of fact I don't think BHOP even gets beat up. GGG at 168lbs BHOP could win some rounds and get a decision. This ain't Kovalev....

I heard Golovkin knocked Kovalev down during sparring and Kovalev never came back to that gym. Could be a bull **** rumor, but it was one of GGG's crew that said it

That is exactly what they said about Bernard & Trinidad WRONG!!!!! They said it about Pavlik too WRONG!!!!
Prime Nard-GGG would have been a great fight but I hope it doesn't happen today. Bernard is 50 years old a Phenom unequalled in boxing history. Why does he need this fight?? He has nothing left to prove. He ia a LEGITIMATE ATG champion.
I know his pride hurts him the thought of going out on a loss to Kovalev but that's better than risking serious injury or worse AGAIN!!!! Please do not do it Bernard

:goodYeah all that too, but I didn't feel like going into it in detail, and I also think BHop has a chance at the win, but didn't feel like the barrage by GGG fanboys, of which I am one.....only more reasonable.:smoke

How about an undefeated prospect? Beterbiev or Alvarez? Maybe not big enough for the swan song.

Hopkins would show flashes of greatness making GGG look foolish at times... He would probably only win four rounds though. Hopkins from the Trinidad fight wins a wide UD.

Kovalev is bigger, better and hits harder than GGG. 50 year old Hopkins wins some rounds against GGG.

And he would've KOd him in the first half of the fight if he fought agressively.
