The incident initiated a brief scuffle. At the end of the month, the commission will rule on whether "The Executioner" will be fined or suspended over the incident.[/FONT]
Only 3 mill? These two are getting half of what Kessler-Calzaghe are looking at. They should stop fighting for change and meet the winner of Kessler-Calzaghe.
$300,000.... that's a shitload of money considering they're going to be punching the crap out of each other in a few minutes time (in theory anyway)
Does anyone have a clue were the money fighters are fined goes? My guess is to buy steak and wine for fat *******s at the commission dinners. I wouldn't mind as much if went into boxing programmes for kids etc, but who the **** are the fat cats to take a percentage of money agreed as a purse between 2 men in a contract? It's not like the commission aren't making money anyway.
They were probably just trying to generate PPV numbers. The fair doesnt sound fair to me. How many times has one fighter actually punched his opponent at the press conference before a fight? Hopkins has done worse before. Even though I thought it was entertaining he did throw down the PR flag in PR and then took off through the crowd and somehow got away UNTOUCHED. That's crazier than pushing Winky's face.
