Hopkins-Green in discussion IN AUSTRALIA?

Yep Mundine deserves the respect aye? i mean fighting those all time great argies the last 2 years, he's the only man on the planet that was game enough to take those fightsatsch... find a sport you have a clue about.

 

Not too sure it would be an easy sell to the public, pSome people saying jones was old but he "used" to be a superstar. Even though Hopkins still is, hearing his age will turn off a lot of non boxing fans.
For real boxing fans its would be ****ing great

 

I have no doubt this will sell well, BHop is a master of self promotion and if its fought here I reckon it will be bigger than the Jones fight.

He had bad weight problems that drained him terribly.

Danny's doing a great thing for Australian boxing. Hope he makes a fortune from it.

 

It would be a bad move for Green to fight Mundine now, if he lost his career would be over where now he has a super fight with Hopkins now and even if he loses another super fight with Mundine later this is probably 8 million odd ahead, if he defeats Hopkins, which I don't think he can, the world is at his feet everyone will want to fight him.

 

I've forgotten more about boxing than you'll ever know. When i say i respect Mundine more i mean for his skills and ability as a boxer. Both Mundine and Green have been extremely hesitant to take on the best. Pro boxing is a circus and a money game so I like a fighter for his skills not his list of opponents. It's great when the best take on the best but it rarely happens in the pro game, just a bunch of names. That's why I prefer AM boxing, it's more of a pure sport, an olympic or world championship medal means alot more than any of the paper titles in pro boxing that robot and dummy always go on about, neither of them should be able to call themselves a champion of any division.

 

this will be awesome hopefully oscar de la hoya and shane mosley come down under too because they will come to support hopkins. but im a green fan and he should knock him out no worries and being on home turf again i think hopkins will be signing on for his worst nightmare just like jones did.

 

i don't care who wins - i just wanna see it. Would be a spectacle hard to replicate.

Unless Hatton comes down under to fight Katsidis that is.....
