Will Calzaghe sign the contracts, or he is going to run to a Clinton Woods (or some other bum) to fight???

It's funny you should mention running

Hopkins hasn't stopped running for 6 years, no wonder he's so fit. Must be a bit knackered mind

Yes, because Hopkins resume shows that he's a runner. Give me a break. Calzaghe is scared to step foot in a ring in America. At least now, American fans will know who he his (like Hatton) before he gets whooped.

The Brits always talk about the overhyped Americans (Lacy, Dawson, etc.), but never talk about European fighters who win 40 fights against nobodies...

Calzaghe will be exposed (if he has the balls to sign) as a GOOD fighter who will get taken to school by a GREAT fighter.

Why did Hopkins back down the first time, Einstein?

    He's scared

Now he wants a payday, probably wants those teeth sorting. He knows he's going to lose, as he did the first time around

Calzaghe is a great fighter. Hopkins is a fraud

All about the money for Bhop this one, he does not stand a chance in hell of winning this contest. He is out-gunned in all departments.

    Hopkins is a fraud??? hahaha
Calzaghe is Great??? hahaha How do you get great by hanging out in Europe, fighting 99% of your fights against LEGITIMATE NOBODIES, and by being a one-division champion.

Calzaghe never fought the big names when he had the chance, and you know it. You think he chased down the best throughout his career??? Take your head out of your ass. He sat in Europe fighting his mandatories, and whatever other bums were available.

As I've said before, I don't blame him. He wanted to make money without a huge amount of risk, and that's fine by me. It's a business.

But don't make it out like Calzaghe takes on all comers, and SEEKS out the best in the world. That just hasn't been true at all...

Let's stop hating on both of them and just cross your fingers and hope they both stop ****ing around and make the deal. I don't know how exciting the fight would be but I definitely want to see it.

Ahhh so you are a moron who doesn't understand the concept of moving up in weight...interesting...so what weight class is a guy like Trinidad in??? I mean he was WAYYYYYY out of his prime when he was undefeated and the favorite to beat Hopkins, right?

He seeked out Hopkins, 6 years ago, and was refused

Yet Hopkins is supposedly a legend, and that is what I take issue with. He's not a legend, he's fooled thick yanks into believing the hype. He's fought a few blown up welters FACT. He's fought Winky Wright, who looked like a balloon at LHW. He's fought Tarver, who is just a joke

He got his arse handed to him by RJJ, and beaten by Jermain Taylor, who is equally fraudulent. He ducked Joe Calzaghe

He's not a legend. All he wants is a payday, he knew he was going to lose 6 years ago, he certainly knows he is now. He probably thinks the loss won't matter now, as he's 43

Beat me to it Dog !

Gettin a but bored with the constant attacks on fighters ( especially two as good as Joe and Bernard )

Neither man went quite as far as he could have done to cement his legacy but both are excellent fighters. This match up should have happened a few years ago but at least it aint as bad at Tito v Rjj
