I don't like Hopkins and like his style of fighting even less but you have to give the man credit for being where he is at this point in his life. As far as I know, he has never put a horseshoe in his glove and as for all that other miscellaneous crap he pulls in the ring, it's the ref's job to enforce the rules, not Hopkins. He will probably stink this Kovalev fight up but at least he is getting in the ring with him.

Love it how so many people are expecting him to try and cheat his way out vs Kovalev. That will get back to him, and maybe make him think twice

 

he wont he knows a lot of people are watching and expect him to do what he did in the first dawson fight.he will still do all his usual tricks but I don't think he fakes an injury to get out of this fight.

Hopkins may be a racist and a cheater but at least he is entering the ring against Kovalev to give you something else to complain about. Stevenson didn't seem to want to even make this fight.

Whatever. Hopkins is in there to win, not to please you. He would be crazy not to fight the type of fight that give him the best chance to win. You guys criticize boxers for not making certain fights and then criticize them for not fighting the way you think they should. Seems like some fighters can't win with some of you guys.
