BHOP by decision 4 sure.........but it'd be great to see him miss a big shot only for roy to capitalise with something special

 

if he does fight out of character he might get countered and knocked out. Bernard's fight is being defensive and waiting for opportunities while winning the rounds. Against Roy he might be the slower guy, so winning the rounds will be hard, so will he get frustrated and leave himself open?

He certainly can out point Roy when Roy is as shot as he is.

I fully expect a late round TKO though.

Hopkins cares about winning and only that, that's what makes him a great fighter. A lot could argue if he pushed harder he could have TKO'd Pavlik, Wright and Tarver but he didn't care to do so because he secured the victory anyway and clearly. I think all remember that he also went in as a heavy underdog against all three, literally laughed at going in against Pavlik and Tarver with people preparing to see him taken out on a stretcher.

He was cut pretty bad in the Calzaghe fight, it's a strong possibility it may happen again. I wonder how much weight Roy needed to cut before the weigh -in?
