Hopkins: I'll face Dawson-Diaconu winner in the Fall

The guy's not over 40. Cant be.

 

Diaconu? Nah, he's like 33 or something, it just seems to me he's been fighting forever. I remember him from the 2000 Olympics.

 

B-Hops is the man. Would be awesome if he beat Pascal, then Dawson in the fall and then later on Bootay.

 

None of us actually knows if he made that promise - or - if he was just saying it. Nevertheless - he continues to do what he does. Looking forward to a good fight this weekend and looking forward to Hopkins making history.

I'm still laughing at Hopkins comment to Pascal from the HBO - "Face 2 Face" - when Pascal was making a comment and beating on the table. Hopkins just says - this table is the only thing you'll be beating!

His second half performance against Pascal was sensational, people tend to forget that. Down the stretch in fights, he usually has the upper advantage.

Great if its true but I'm skeptical about it. I'm still not convinced Hopkins is in any hurry to face Dawson and I don't think there is a lot of financial incentive for him to face Diaconu. I can see him facing Cloud after this or maybe even a Pavlik rematch. If he's still around next year I think he goes after Bute or Froch. Maybe if Dawson looks bad against Diaconu then Hopkins may face him but I don't see Dawson-Hopkins fight anytime soon but I'd like to be wrong there.

 

Dude, how does anybody want to see this man Hopkins fight anymore. The whining, crying, the acting, the drama. And they say Floyd is a coward? This guy Hopkins might fight more often but his style is about as exciting as the Klit brothers, and the whining, crying, is pathetic.

Yep. What he is doing at his age is not just incredible as a boxer, it's incredible as an athlete period. I also wonder how much he has left but he has a long history of proving people wrong for the better.

 

A lot of people find mayweather boring as well, But *****s usually say that they dont know **** about boxing because the people who say that dont respect pure boxing skills and ring iq, hopkins has a bigger ring iq and great skills, to do what he does as a underdog in a lot of fights at his age is incredible. Have you not seen the fight vs pascal, it was pretty exciting.

 

I have no doubt B-Hop is on PEDs.
