    It cant go on forever. Its a fact that anyone in their 40s starts to experience muscle and bone loss. And from mid 40s on the rate rapidly increases. Bernard has probably slowed the process a bit, but its not something that can be stopped. Mentally he is very sharp and thats where his success mostly comes from, but at this point its really only a matter of time before he has the fate of anyone that fights on as long as he does and will realize his own mortality, probably in the form of taking a beating. A 44 year old Hopkins is not physically the same as a 46 year old Hopkins. He should have listened to his mama at this point.

    I agree for the most part, but in his last fight with Pascal, he didnt do any of the above as stated...He fought like a champ..Now what he's done outside of the ring is a totally different story!
