Regardless of his age, you can never truly count Hopkins out.

I wouldn't mind a Bute fight, but like some others have said, I'd be more impressed if he fought Dawson.

    BigReg,

you don`t get it. he has both romanian and canadian citizenship, but he considers himself romanian. The man himself says it !!! so get over it and lets talk about the fight!

No, you don't get it. If the mother ****er has Canadian citizenship, then he's Canadian in terms of his nationality. That doesn't mean that he ceases to be, ethnically as nationality wise, Romanian. He would officially be labled Romanian-Canadian. However, it would be appropriate to call him Canandian.

now you are becoming an idiot ! you say that a romanian born and claimed is a cnadian(just because he has canadian residence) and a London born from jamaican perents is a jamaican. That IS just NONSence!!!!

I never knew people can be this stupid.

If Bute HAS Canadian Citizenship it is in that mans right and the right of another man to refer to him as a Canadian. At no point are you referring to where the man was born but in fact where he currently resides.

This has nothing to do with where he was born. Just country of residents.

Bute does not have too many options until the Super 6 is over. He should go for it unless he has a real problem with moving up for one fight.

Hope he beat B-Hop too, B-Hop is an ok fighter but way overrated and he uses every trick inside and outside of the ring to get an advantage - he is a borderline cheat imo.

You cant count Hopkins out in a fight with Bute.

With his style of not taking many chances late in his career,B-Hop is now always in big fights that or boring. He makes them that way with his style of fighting.

Hopkins is very savy in the ring and does execute that boring take no chance style very well. The thing Hopkins does best IMO is make the other guy look bad, even if the other guy wins he looks bad doing it.

With all that being said,IMO Bute should stay away from this fight with Hopkins.Stick around at 168 and wait for the super six to finish and fight the last man standing.

IMO it makes no sense for Bute to fight Hopkins at 170,two more pounds past his limit for a non title fight. If Bute wins is he realy going to get praised for it?Did it realy do anything for Calzaghe's legacy when he squeaked out a win against old man Hopkins?

Or,if Bute is willing to move up a couple pounds,he might as well move up a few more and fight the undefeated Dawson.I personaly would give him more credit for winning that fight then Bute Beating an old Hopkins.

Hopkins is way past his prime and has been beaten.Dawson is in his prime and undefeated. If Bute did beat Dawson he would be doing what no one else has done...Just makes more sense.

If Bute knows what's good for him, he'll stay the hell away from Hopkins. It's a NO WIN SITUATION.

"I sure would appreciate if you'd double the gosh darn jab, eh? Le double le coup foutu!!!"

You have to remember that BHop confused Austria with Australia when talking about Green v. RJJ.
