    I get your concept. It's just your concept is stupid. Bute is Romanian, he considers himself Romanian, even if he has Canadian citizenship, he is still a ****ing Romanian. To call him Canadian is both ignorant and insulting. To call him a Canadian citizen is appropriate (that is if he has citizenship, which I a pretty sure he does by now). :good

    No, you don't get it. When you call someone Canadian, or Irish, or French, you're refering to their nationality. Your nationality can be the country you were born in, the country your parents are born in, or the country(ies) in which have citenzenship. Why is this so hard for you to understand?

    Bute his whatever the **** he wants to be, whether hes a canadian with romanian origins or a romanian living in canada or a québecois is up to him to decide. To me if you decide to be a part of a society then you should be considered as such.
