Not a good fight for Hopkins @ this stage. Bute has much better movement than Pav, is faster, plus he's a great body puncher.

 

Firstly he doesn't have Candian citizenship. Yet.
Secondly the Klit's speak German. Ajose Olusegun speaks English. What the **** does that have to do with their respective nationalities?

Thanksfully a lot of naivety here. Can't blame Hopkins for saying something idiotic yet again, I guess he has his own issues to deal with, I can live with that. All I can say, even after his extremely ugly and dirty fight, I hope he'll take on Bute rather than Haye. That ****er hit the back of Ruiz' head multiple times, and if Roy send Nard on the canvas for 5 minutes, what do you think the 2nd biggest puncher in the entire sport will do?

 

To be fair when it comes to Lewis being Jamaican is a nationality not an ethnicity. Being Romanian can be an ethnicity or nationality. Lucian Bute is ethnically and nationally Romanian. Lewis is not ethnically Jamaican, as there is no Jamaican ethnicity, nor is he nationally Jamaican. Certain nationalities are not ethnicities, ie American, Canadian, and really any nationality in the "New World."

 

So if bute decides on a new career in japan is he japanese in a few years? I dont think so

Back to topic: Bute would retire Hopkins. He beat the odds against Pavlik, but Bute is a whole different kettle of fish.

 

If hopkins is calling someone out, he sure as hell thinks he can beat them and hopkins, whatever you think about him, knows his stuff. I wouldnt bet against him against bute, even at this stage in his life.
