Yes your right, we became the most powerful Nation in the history of the world because it a place full of uneducated peopleatsch
It's not 'in your opinion', it just IS. Nationality can be acquired by A. Being born within the jurisdiction of a state B. By inheriting it from parents C. By a process of naturalization. A and B are obviously not applicable in Bute's case, because he was born in Romania and has Romanian parents. Naturalization is the acquisition of citizenship or nationality by somebody who was not a citizen or national of that country when he or she was born. So, citizenship and nationality are two different things. Bute got Canadian citizenship, but his nationality remains Romanian.
Bottom line is only Europeans give a **** about it. I recall debating Hamed, when some moron said that he wasnt a Brit. WHO CARES it will have no effect on a fight if they ever fight.
I don't really give a ****. Some posters made a big deal about it and I just gave some facts on the subject.
It's not a huge poinbt either way. He's a Rmanian Canadian. But to simply call him a Canadian without mentioning the Romanian bit is somewhat misleading. Imagine this. Bernard Hopkins emigrates to Greece, and acquires Greek citizenship. Some time later, he's fighting Evander Holyfield in Las Vegas for the UWBCF heavywt title. And Jim Lampley wonders out loud. " Does Holy still has what it takes to beat the Greek ?" Imagine the look on Merchant's face? (Max is grinning 'cause he thinks the 'Greek" reference is to Bernard getting it in the ass from Calzaghe.)
Don't you just want this fight to happen so that Hopkins will be beaten convincingly and will be forced to go to his retirement? Though I am really hoping he can turn another Pavlik-fight performance.
No offence, Carles. Round these parts, oral is called French, and anal is called Greek. Barbaric bunch of *******s, aren't we ?:yep
