Hopkins: I'll turn Bute into a Canadian Kelly Pavlik

Two of the more ridiculous statements I've seen on this forum in awhile.

 

Hopkins is a ****ing idiot and a racist. His comments should be a mystery.

I'd love to see the fight happen and watch Bute beat the **** out of him.

I'll have to totally disagree here, Bute is NOT Kelly Pavlik. Bute has skills, speed, movement, good defense and serious power when he commits to it. This will be a nightmare for Hopkins in my opinion.

I picked BHop to beat Trinidad, Tarver and Pavlik.

But Bute stops him.

 

Hopkins should retire.Enough is enough.He cant go on for ever and sooner or later he is going to end up getting knocked out.I dont see his point in carrying on he has nothing to prove to anyone.

 

I don't know. Clinches is one of the worst part of Bute's game. He's just not good at it period.

 

True. I've notice that to against Andrade I & II . Librado was hitting him in clinches with hooks and uppercuts more than in the fight itself . I think he doesn't know how to hold properly , he doesn't have a good grip and if the opponent struggles a little he'll free on hand easily.But then again not everyone struggles in clinches like Andrade does ... some just wait for the referee to break them off

 

Because the fight won't happen, we will never know who's ridiculous between you and me. Still, I think that the dirty tactics of Hopkins won't work against a fresh Bute and the precision of his shots could hurt Hopkins and send him to the canvas.

And it's not like I'm the only one to think that if you read the others comments made here.

i would love nothing more than for a Bute like guy to clubber hopkins into retirement. i think bhop still has jail mentality- and thinks the yard is still divided into blacks and latinos- and that every white guy must be shivved quickly before the seccies come into the yard. The way he talks about white boxers is so racist - but nobody ever calls him up on it. hes speaking of bute this way obviously cos he s white- and he sees Bute=white, Pavlick = white THEREFORE if white = white then Bute = Pavlick. typical jailyard mentality as i said. ....... he needs a white boy from the Arryan brotherhood to beat his arse into the 2010's. Hopkins is a black redneck- if you get my meaning. never thought id say that.

Bute has his canadian citizenship, therefore, he IS Canadian
