Did you go to either fight at the Prudential Center? I intend to go next time he fights there.

When has Hopkins ever been a draw? No disrespect to the guy, but he couldnt sell an arena if the tickets were ****ing free and came with a beer. He has NEVER been a draw.

And he isnt champion. Adamek is. BHop may be a living legend, but he is still the guy moving up in weight and fighting the Numero Uno with the belts and the title.

Nope. I probably won't be staying long in NJ anyways. I kinda hate this place to be honest... Kinda regret leaving Tampa, but im probably gonna move back to Buffalo.

Adamek was at my local bar here in Garfield NJ watching the Poland - Ireland football game.

Poland is playing tomaorw vs San Marino, maybe he will be at the same bar tomaorw :yep

Im gonna go there with my Krzysztof Wlodarczyk t shirt.

    :nut

Adamek is not a charity too . . . Bhops wants something that Adamek has . . . so he needs to pay the price to get a crack at it.

Adamek is not asking for 50/50 . . . he is just asking for a reasonable offer. :deal

Yeah and when he does and wins then he fought an overrated fraud anyway. It's getting typical with the BHop bashing now.

A Legend in his own mind maybe. When he grows a sack and rematches RJJ, beats Toney, and moves up to HW and wins a belt, then he will be a Living Legend. There is a better chance of Boy George eating Kim Karshadian's ***** on National TV than that happening, however.

To suggest that a 44 year old man that fights elite comp should grow a sack is foolish. Everytime he steps in the ring, he is making history. There are only a handful of fighters that fought at his level at this age. BTW, what good would it be for him to fight those two has beens? Ko'ing Roy isn't going to be big accomplishment for him.

Exactly, nobody would give him any credit for it, and I mean NOBODY. Roy Jones, perhaps unfairly, is going to get a pass for every loss he ever has the rest of his life, as if he isn't still dangerous. He's way past it, but tell Hanshaw and Trinidad and Sheika he isn't still atleast a professional fighter.

But he's not on Bernards level anymore. He'd get annhilated, and Hopkins would get no credit for it. Hopkins has longevity, something Roy simply doesn't.

Which is why he should concede a bit to get this fight made. He can pass Roy Jones legacy with a win over Adamek and a few more solid W's over similar competition, especially if Roy continues to add L's. I dont think he'll do it, but fate has gifted him the ability to be an elite 40 year old, and his rivals days as an elite are over. If Hopkins REALLY wants a W over Roy, do it over Roys resume.

We know how Hopkins operates, when he wants a fight he goes full out in the media to get it done. Lately Hopkins has turned into a churchmouse he is so quiet regarding Adamek. It's pretty clear he doesn't really want the fight now , he might be losing motivation... and/or he may be unsure if he can beat mighty Adamek.

Ok, so the money for this fight is pretty much guaranteed at about $6 million right?

Adamek only wants $1,5 million, I think there is a good chance this fight happens.

What are BHop other options? retire, Roy Jones or Toney. He doesn't seem to want any part of Dawson. Adamek sounds enticing enough in this scenario.

By now, GBP probably already rose the offer to a million dollars.

Is this fight supposed to happen at a catch wheight? I heard 180-185lbs. No way Adamek should accept anything under 190lbs.

B-Hop just wants what he thinks he is worth. At this stage of his career, I think that's fair enough.

He has earned the right to be unreasonable.
