Thats fine with me as long as he enjoys that right, without getting any undeserved Title shots and as long as guys like RJJ get the fight with Adamek and the belt and put it in his Aunt Esther looking face for the post fight press conference.

 

Turn about is fair play If Adamek wants the fight sign the contract if not SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!!

 

Bernard didn't call Thomas out, he simply said that he would beat another robotic white fighter which is nothing but making fun of overhyped caucasian fighters. The fact that Adamek understood that as a compliment and suggested that Hops' people would sign a contract, makes me think that Adamek is the only one who doesn't know where his place in boxing is. And since there r guys who think Hops is on a high horse and has no one else to fight, let me say it once again: Hopkins is one of the most famous and wanted fighters in activity today whereas Adamek is a former LHW and good CW title holder; it makes sense to see Hopkins take on Chad Dawson, Joe Calzaghe ( if he comes back) or the winner of Taylor-Froch and Thomas Adamek should think about guys like Enzo Macca. Period.

if he doesnt says there that he wants to Face Adamek And become " the cruiserweight champion" then u must be right, but guess woot u re very wroong , it was hopkins who first wanted this fight

and its hopkins who now realises that its all too risky for him and that he could be ktfo this time, so he makes that silly offer just to end the negotiations before they even got started for real. now this "im not a charity" bullsh1t, Adamek is fighting for 10 years now, hes 32 years old ,if this won't be his big payday then when is it going to happen?,

besides that, adamek has earned several offers from guys like jones , johnson , byrd etc ,so its up to your boy b-hop to endeavour after this fight, or he'll be overtaken , but the case is that imo he really wants this to happen. and thats just sad , cuz i really wanted to see this.

Both Wiesiek and PolishPummler r getting it wrong. No disrespect to Poland, Polish fighters or Thomas Adamek himself, but you are the guys who must be making fun of someone right here and that would be me... You want to make me believe that Hopkins has no where else to go but Adamek just cause he put the bait for Thomas to bite? F'kin unbelievable... That's the way Bernard thinks-talks-and fights, he puts the bait, pulls the line a lil bit and capitalizes on it! He put the bait for Adamek to bite and the Polish fighter wants it bad but doesn't offer a good payday so he can well kiss his big payday goodbye! Yeah, go on and fight Glen "awkward" Johnson or "washed up" RJJ and make some doe. Fact is that Adamek lost his title against Chad so it's Chad for Bernie or a rematch against Calz or Jermain ( or Froch) - Adamek would have been a warm-up for Bernie, no way no how this guy loses to Chad and beats Bernie!

 

It seems BHop is getting old and old and old ... He needs so much money for retirement ? No, he's got plenty, he's not as old tho. If he wanted to be a P4P #1 he could consider cash as a little less important factor and come into the ring, but he won't. What's the reason ? Fear guys, Hopkins is worried that he will be beaten by brutal KO and is trying to bid the price up to don't deal this fight, cuz it's ****ing obvious that Adamek will not agree on 500K in case Hopkins takes 10x more cash while being the contender. Come on ...

It was all said above, but it's ridiculous, dunno who is Hopkins scared of ... he will beat 'another white, robotic boy' anyway.

 

Obviously everybody knows and Bernard himself knows that Thomas is no robotic fighter (like Kelly isn't) but that's the way Hopkins makes em come to him and finds good deals for himself. To play out, clown a lil bit and make good business is a part of the pro fighter job and that's what happened. No business made, no fight in prospect, no hard feelings. But to suggest that Hopkins is afraid of Thomas Adamek skill or power is absurd in itself. Boxing is not measured in terms of weight-class a fighter is currently fighting in... Manny Pacquiao and JMM step up and kayo lightweights and welterweights that easy, Bernard Hopkins himself stepped up and toyed with Antonio Tarver... It has to do with Championship Caliber, Craftsmanship and experience. Thomas Adamek is not on Bernard Hopkins league like Joe Calzaghe was or Chad Dawson is, I'm afraid to say.

 

So you're sayin that 500k is serious offer and tomasch should accept it , right? or else it wont be a good business for hopkins cuz he would get ONLY 2.5 or 3 mln dollars instead of 4?

Wiesiek, my brother, this has nothing to do with being a champion of a division for Chrissake. WTF is the CWT Division anyway ( specially after David haye has gone up)? Oh please, don't bring that bull up, will you? Kelly was MW Champ and Hops had lost a LHW title and they still fought one highly awaited matchup at 170. It's the name, the big attraction, the mental confrontation, the chills and suspense on fight night that is worth it - there's nothing that Adamek can give Hops except for the money and he may well get the big reward by winning big and go on to make an excellent career for himself. I would accept it looking for my future on the big stage. And 2.5 or 3 mill it's not a good business for Hops since he has to train hard to get up for this battle at a higher weight... But you already knew that, please fight Macca.
