Then post one. No doubt he is a controversial person. I don't fully agree with his ideology. However, I haven't seen a quote from him that I would describe as racist.
Exactly Ive done research projects on favelas in Brazil, and any ghetto in America can not even compare to these places. These are places where Police with military equipment like Armoured Personal Carriers and automatic rifles can not go. The murder rate for Brazil is nearly 6 times the United States. Which apparently is understated because of fears it will affect tourism and investment. And thats just the murders being reported, a lot of murders in these shanty towns go unreported. And to think there are places in the world even worse than that. Like my street bitches :bbb
If Hopkins was photographed shooting a old woman you most likely wouldnt believe it so your objectivity is slightly in question.
Honestly, Calzaghe couldn't care less whether Hopkins was racist or not...:conf...it didn't make the slightest impression on him...:verysad I only replied to this thread because it's laughable to suggest he wasn't making a racist comment. Moreover, his explanation of why his comment wasn't to be taken as a racist comment proved that he himself was racist and managed to insult his community he was trying to hide behind too, completely unneccessarily. :-( Am I offended, though? Not at all. Do I think it's a big deal? No. Will it have affected Calzaghe in any way? Of course not! End of story.
My objectivity is in question because of how you assume I would react to a hypothetical situation? I don't think so.
It was an unpleasant remark which if reversed would have been treated more seriously but it is still an irrelevance.
That's right...can you imagine what would have happened if Calzaghe said he'd never lose to a Black BOY " ?????? he'd be banned, and all those defending Hopkins on this would be outraged, and Joe would be banned...But he's too much of a good man to say that rasist trash...leave that to the low-lifes, like Hopkins :good
Come to think of it, it's kinda bit of an irony since long, long ago, a similar-to-opposite remark was made by james jeffries to jack johnson, prior to their fight. the thing was, james was white and jack's african american
If that's so, then Jams was racist to comment like that.... lots were racist against good ole Jack Jonson:-(
Bunch of ***s. Everybody so quick to cry racism, black and white. Grow some thicker skin and quit being such crybaby bitches.:deal
Yeah, but if racial remarks like Hopkins' were not said, there would be no case........cause to claim racism...... atsch
He said what he said. Big deal. Only thin skined pusscakes want to claim racism when Hopkins is obviously not a racist.
