He said on a BBC interview that great champions travel as he did when he fought in london, paris, and ecuador. One of those is true in ecuador when he fought mercado. Where he got dropped twice and escaped with a draw. He later avenged the loss in his back yard:roll: Hopkins had one fight outside of the U.S. Which is 1 less than joe. So he should STFU about great champions traveling and get his facts straight before broadcasting his stupidity on live radio.
He did fight in Paris as well. Not sure about London....would have to check boxrec or something. Not coming up on my PC right now.
Calzaghe is a walking contradiction, I really feel he wants deep down to fight Bernard and so do his feverish supporters but then, he also must know that's a risk and one can always make others believe that the fight didn't happen cause Bernard would have to go to Cardiff or Manchester. The number of threads that have been started here with the one and very same subject prove what I'm sayin... Get over it, Hopkins and Calzaghe will not fight and the world is not a worse place for that reason.
JC would make him look stupid and Hopkins knows it. He would be running around the ring like a child running home because they need the toilet.
