Amazing all the Calzaghe bitches are crying foul because Hopkins was dirty later in the fight.

It's amazing how they completely bypass the fact that Calzaghe was the first dirty fighter in the fight. He LOW BLOWED big time in the 2nd because he was KDed in the first. Because he got knocked on his ass he decided to low blow Hopkins.

Amazing how they dont want to read that part but try to spin it and say Hopkins did it first! ****ing dumbasses. Get off Calzaghes nuts, his a ****** slapper and lost to HOpkins 114-113

They still can't accept it can they.

First Hopkins for all the talk and whispering about what hes going to do at the weigh in, does nothing.

Then when he gets in the ring and tries that **** the tables get turned on him.

Face it, Hopkins is the epitome of bully. And when someone as big and bad as him came to town....he lost his edge and with it the fight.

I agree with alot you have said, but I think alot of Brits are reacting to the anti-brit **** that has been going on here for the past 6 months.

As for the guy who branded Calzaghe as classless because he fouled?

I wonder sometimes how many people here have ever coached or stepped into a oxing ring (my guess is less than 5%). That poster certainly hasn't

Hmmm yeah 122 points from a 12 round fight , quality stuff !

To be honest I am shocked at how many of the US fans have bitched out over this , constant f**king moaning , welching on avatar bets , having a go at the brit fans in every way possible.

Man I knew Americans were bullies but who knew it would be this bad ?

And they wonder why the rest of the world f**kin hates them

You lot can suck my dick ! Im done !

It's no secret that both Calzaghe and Hopkins have been dirty fighters throughout there careers, saturday night was no different. Calzaghe low blowed, punched on the break, and hit behind the head. Hopkins excessively held, and lead with his head. I felt Calzaghe should of probably had a point taken away after he tried humping Hopkins after he low blowed him, that was a little uncalled for. I do think Hopkins was hurt by the low blows, but he was definitely milking it the second time around, but take it from someone that boxed before, if the ref gives you 5 minutes, you should take most of that time to regain your strength/stamina, at 43 you need every edge you can get.

I don't know why people are giving Hopkins a stinker for that 10th round low blow. He got hit low and was well within reason to take up to 5 minutes. If Calzaghe wanted to avoid that it's quite simple, don't hit low.

They both used underhanded tactics so nothing to cry foul over. Calzaghe gave as good as he got, it was a fun fight.

You don't foul Calzaghe without being smited Intentionally back anyway.

He tapped It light accidentally when Hopkins held him.

I think it's quite the opposite of pitiful considering there have only been about 14 countries with champions in the last 100 years. Does the USA not support one of their boxers when they become undisputed champions? I get the feeling there's a little of bit of bitterness going on here.

For the record, as an armchair fan... it was a **** fight. I'm sure that purists loved all the hugging, anal sex, headbutts, feigned injuries and illegal punches. For the uninitiated, it was a ****ing disgrace. Newsflash:- boxing has rules. Let the rules be enforced or let a fight descend into the kind of unseemly brawl all the moralising critics claim that it is. Boxing needs money from the wider audience so it needs to appeal to the wider audience. If it tolerates cheating on the scale we saw on Saturday then that audience will disappear. Then so will the TV guys, then the money, and then the talent.

Keep putting on shite like that fight and boxing will die. Let Calzaghe and Hopkins take that for their ****ing legacy.

Mayweather didn't beat Hatton at his "own game". He counterpunched and boxed him until he finally dropped him with one huge counter. And I don't much like Mayweather. He lacks class in my eyes. HOWEVER, Calzaghe repeatedly (and admittedly) deliberately fouled. Personally, I thought the rabbit punching was worse than the low blow action. And to waggle your crotch at another mans' butt after you hit him low is not good sportsmanship for an international audience of millions. Makes one wonder about ol' Joe there. If that is what class is all about these days, count me out. Joe should have been born at the height of the ancient Greek culture. They would have loved him there.:scaredas:
