although not as big a ***** move as one of the hood's own boys who prides himself on his tough reputation faking a low blow because he couldn't keep up with the pace.

oh and losing to a white boy...:yep

I don't think fighters should be cheating anyway...

But admitting you cheated strictly because you were knocked down, is just outrageous. I'm not defending Bernard, but stop defending Calzaghe.

He acted like Zab Judah, like a little *****.

Joe should not have said that. He should have simply said Hopkins was being the dirty old ******* he always was so he gave him a little dig to show him who was boss.

He should not have attributed it to KD in 1st round. It just gives the haters the straws they need to clutch at to degrade Calzaghes win.

Fact is, Hopkins ducked Calzaghe 6 years ago in favour of waiting on a money spinning fight with DLH. When he began to put legacy before finance once again post DLH, he agreed to fight JC in 2008. He lost. Would he have won in 2002 or 2003? Maybe, maybe not. We will never know and that is the old *******s fault and the old *******s alone.

I'm not bothered at all actually. I had no stake in the fight.

What amazes me, is your nuthugging. You can't admit that you own Golden Boy Calzaghe could have done something wrong?

It was a ***** move. It wasn't to retaliate against Hopkins' knees, elbows, headbutts, etc. IT WAS SPECIFICALLY TO RETALIATE BECAUSE HOPKINS KNOCKED HIM ON HIS ASS.

That's as much of a ***** move as there is.

Are you going to admit it, or keep looking like Calzaghe's paying you as his defense attorney?

God I love the "everyone else is doing it" excuses. It worked so well for the New England Patriots....

The fact is, regardless of if Hopkins fould or not, Joe admitted to it, which now gives Hopkins evidence of cheating, which could possibly give him a legitimet appeal of the SD, forcing a NC ruling.

One low blow that was deliberate and to no avial is no where near what Hopkins was doing. I counted like 10 low blows from Hopkins and nevermind the headbutting and hitting Calzaghe with his shoulder.

Oh cry me a ****ing river. It was a dirty fight this **** happens.

I'm not a Calzaghe nuthugger as much as i find it astounding people are having a go at JC for hitting low against hopkins

Wow, you Brits really want us Americans to show bias, and it pisses you off that we don't.

Most of the Brits on this site are the most biased fans I've ever seen.

Most of the Americans who post here are just fans of the sport.

I think you've missed the tongue in cheek aspect, kind of like when he said he slipped, or what Hatton said "what a fluke that was!". It's fairly typical Brit humour... either way, Hopkins and his fans can have NO complaints about the fight from that aspect, as Hopkins was so varied in his illegal actions that Cortez probably didn't know which thing to call him up on. Very good and varied work, shame he forgot about the boxing and winning the fight part :nut

Calzaghe is the champ, he out-hustled the hustler and had more game about him. Not only that, but proved he is the better tactician and proved a lot of critics wrong, who would ever have predicted that Hopkins would be the one being roughed up and forced to complain in the end? I'd actually like to see another fight, but with a non biased referee that lets everything he does go and on British soil. Hopkins would be dominated as he wouldn't get away with his usual ****.

Americans (in general) arenot very good fans either, what you lot did to Lacy, Williams etc etc is disgusting! How can you all be on thier bandwagons then desert them after 1 loss, your support is despicable! Fair-weather-fans! Hatton loses he sells out 50,000 in a couple of days, his fans in the arena get louder, you all go missing after 1 defeat!
