Well, I guess you're the only opinion who thinks Calzaghe is just "joking around"...

My argument isn't weak, it's obvious. It's classless to foul someone because they knocked you down. That's being a little *****. A classy fighter would NEVER even think about doing something like that.

So, does Calzaghe ever do anything wrong? or his he your perfect man? hahahaha:rofl

    WOW. You're very inventive.

Why, you want to see if I had Calzaghe or Hopkins winning? Does it matter how I scored it?

If I scored it for Calzaghe, would you say his low blow was classless?

Of course it was foul play by Calzaghe. But fact of the matter is Hopkin's is a bully boy and he had it coming to him after all his shite in the build-up. Played him at his own game and now he's whining like a *****.

Just curious because you were very vocal before the fight and talked a lot of smack.

Honestly, I just think Calzaghe was embarrassed that he got planted on his ass. He never expected the old man to beat him.

I had Calzaghe winning 114-113 (7 rounds to 5 minus the point for the knockdown).

I didn't care who won really. In a way, I wanted to see the old man pull it out, but I didn't care much.

Honestly, if Hopkins took the fight in 2002, I think he would've beaten Calzaghe pretty easily. It was obvious to me that Hopkins was more skillful in terms of pure punching ability, defense, etc. He just didn't have much left in the tank, and seemed very tired. At 43, it was a good showing, but it was obvious he was 43...

I scored it exactly the same. Also I think he would have beat calzaghe in his prime, but not easily.

I don't mean he would've knocked him out in 4 haha.

I'd predict a prime Hopkins takes Calzaghe 8-4 or 9-3.

James Toney or Roy Jones would've knocked him out...or just embarrassed him.

I couldn't care either way, do I think it was dirty? Yes. Do I think it tarnishes his reputation or makes him any less a fighter? No.

I'm sorry if I dont share your opinion or sympathy towards a fighter who's lack of class shows no bounds, a man who punches opponents in the faces at weigh-ins, tauts with racial slurrs and generally acts like a thug. So he got hit in the nuts, so what? Hopkins was using heads, elbows, forearms, low blows and throwing rabbit punches from the off. To see him get beaten at his own game, have his will broken and eventually bullied into almost submission was refreshing to see.

Having said that I hope Jones wins if/when they fight still, but props to Calzaghe from once again proving the people betting against him wrong.

I would've liked it better if Calzaghe just obstained from any "dirty tricks", beat Hopkins, then made fun of him...

    That would've been better.

If RJJ has ANYTHING left in the tank, he'll beat Calzaghe.

Low blows are common, I do not like that Joe did it intentionally, but he was honest about what happened in the ring, and man enough to come clean with it, which is more that can be said for Hopkins

Honestly, (steroids aside haha), that's why I always respected James Toney. He NEVER fouled, RARELY held, and fought "in the pocket", toe to toe, against middleweights and heavyweights, and fought like a man.

Sure, he came in out of shape, bitched when he lost, and so on, but he was a true MAN and WARRIOR in the ring.

No matter what bull**** went down, I can't help but respect what he did inside the ropes. And love him or hate him, he didn't hit low, hit behind the back, take a knee, or run from a fight...

I'm getting a distinct impression you dont like Calzaghe and no matter what his reason or performance you'd still find something to knock about him? Did you predict a Hopkins win in this fight just as you are predicting Jones to win?

Regardless of anything, Hopkins was the dirtier fighter in the ring on Saturday, this is undisputable fact, he or his fans have no right to complain.
