Hopkins is getting overrated...again

I've got say why are there no mods in here taking horse**** like this of? This guy is a nut job. I have not even bothered to say write anything on this thread until now but i'm having trouble believeing its still going. Some of the **** said on this thread has been crazy. Im starting to believe theres alot of people on here only watch and know about there fighters such is the ignorance.

 

Yep.I thought Kelly Would seriously batter Hops.
I was way off and Bernard made me feel an idiot for doubting him.
Good for him.He deserves nothing but unreserved(not grudging) credit from doubters like me.
He was magnificent.

 

I was reading this thread over again Jack and I think I have accused you of being a Hopkins hater unfairly. If I've been out of line I apologize. I don't agree that Hopkins is widely overrated, but after seeing more than one thread after Saturday called something like "Hopkins: Top 5 P4P of All-Time??" I definitely see where you're coming from. We actually share more than one of the same favourite fighters, and you're a good and experienced poster IMO :good

Hopkins fought middleweight the majority of his career. Dela Hoya(who Hopkins came in a 155lbs against) and Trinidad both fought and beat other middleweights before fighting Hopkins. He moved up 15lbs to fight Tarver. Winky was already a middleweight who moved up 10lbs to fight Hopkins. Let me guess, poor Joe Calzaghe moved up to an extremely brave 2 whole pounds was definitely at a mismatch. And now Pavlik who fought and won at 166lbs moved up four pounds to fight a guy who fought at 160lbs more times than anyone of these guys combined. So what's the big deal about Hopkins?

Yes, my posts were repititious but placed in different forum subject headings about the Pavlik and Hopkins threads. Hence, I made the same point in various threads. No need to rewrite my thoughts when they remain the same.

Since I'm new to posting at this site, I have permitted you to make a few dim witted comments. I then retorted. This is called fair play. Or allowing you to take a few shots and I give them back. However, I don't want to prolong debating with you since I believe your lower than the scum on the belly of a snake at the bottom of the ocean. By writing the things you did with expletives, homosexual comments, curse words, et. al, you have regressed to the level of homo sapiens prior to the change from chimps to humans.

Also, I'm uncertain what a "Gatekeeper's" job function is, as your title suggest. However, if your assuming the role of a moderator, then please find another position. Your not intelligent enough to offer erudite, reasoned thoughts on this forum.

dont think i can honestly say ive seen him be deemed overrated or held so high on this forum. the threads are 99% ******ed here because most do the same posts before or after fights. either way the man was considered kod before the fight even started. u can say what u want bernard took him to class and then beat his ass. gotta respect that.
