J/k dude... Listen I like BHOP alot, but Jones is my favorite fighter. I will admit that BHOP was by far the superior boxer but Jones' style in their prime would give BHOP trouble every time. However, this is also the reason this version of Jones looses to BHOP all day now. You feel me?

Before the Calzaghe fight Hopkins talked like John Wayne but ended up fighting like Taylor Dayne.

Jones fought a pre peak Hopkins. He wanted no parts of peak Hopkins.

You can't say that Hopkins is a racist because of that white boy comment. That was a bit of banter and as Calzaghe said... "that made the fight". The fact that Calzaghe beat him is the important issue from the fight. Hopkins had avoided him for years and he did not want to fight him... Calzaghe had to fly to Vegas and get in his face!! only after Hopkins slipped up and saw the marketability of Britain VS USA, then he went for it. He knew that Calzaghe was dangerous, otherwise he would not have went for Freddie Roach.

Calzaghe better than Hopkins and Jones, but best of the last 25 years the jury is still out, for me...

 

He had Roach in his corner because Richardson had recently suffered a stroke.

 

He also tried getting Roach for the Pavlik fight but Roach said no to his stupid crack money.
