when people will STILL say Jones has has had a better career.

I like both fighters by the way, but I think Roy still has the better career.

Hopkins has proved and solidified his spot in the ranks.

Jones has a legacy with many unanswered questions and what ifs, titles sure but against what opposition?

Lets not forget that Hopkins cemented his legacy against smaller men as well .Two of his biggest fights were against legends at welter ..

No matter what Hopkins or Jones do they still have the bodies of 40 something year old men so they have their limitations now. In their 20s- Jones was better. 30's-Hopkins edges it because of what happened in RJJ's late 30's. 40's Hopkins.

Eh, they both have had steller careers. Hopkins made 20 straight defenses from 1995-2005 of a World Title at Middleweight and RJJ was pretty much the best P4P fighter, I guess, basically since Toney to Tarver. They both are ATG fighters and If I had to pick I would go with RJJ, but since there is a "Too close too call" option, I'll go with that.
