Perhaps someone will be kind enough to explain to you the difference between "smashed" and "split decision", and "prime" and "43 years old". Hopefully they will also give a a quick guide to these things we have in boxing called "weight classes" because I know from past experience that this is an issue you have trouble understanding. :good

Don't know about the greatest, but he is certainly one of them. Not of this time but all times. I really admire what BHOP has done and should be an example to follow. After jail he really dedicated himself and that is why, AT HIS ****ING AGE, he still has a great physical condition.

As good shape as BHOP has, its impossible to call a 42 year old "PRIME"

Plus, Split desicion is very far from smash.

 

If Hopkins had had another big win this year, he would have been breathing down Pac's neck for 'Fighter of the Decade'.

But whatever, Hopkins certainly belongs in the HOF, is an ATG and also a Modern Legend of the sport.

He got one judge giving him teh home gift, I gave Hopkins maybe 4 rounds, more likely 3.

Hopkins started late in his career, he is currently p4p 3, now I can not be sure, but i think 3 is the highest hes ever been, though I admit I could be wrong there.

Also, look how he battered Pavlik, this is a guy, that people said would beat calzaghe, and Hopkins brutilised him.

joe won the fight by a bit, he landed more and was busier and by the end hopkins was tired...but to say he "smashed" hopkins is false and ridiculous. furthermore JC never stepped one little UK toe over the pond when the likes of RJJ, Hop, Toney, Mcallum were in there fierce younger days.

Joe was an all-time great but he picked his fights more carefully than any other HOF guys of our era.
