God, I kinda stopped reading this when you used Froch as an unbiased source....

Look, Calzaghe landed more jabs, landed more punches, and landed more power shots, he threw more, raped Hop, taunted hop, caused hop to cheat, reduced Hop to rolling around infront of his own nation, throwing all his dignity out the window just to stay in the fight, then he won a deserved decision.

The only thing Hopkins exceeded Joe in was 1 flash KD and cheating, everything else was all Calzaghe.

Why would Joe rematch Hopkins anyway, its not liek he got teh credit he deserved for it, and he wanted this fight in 02, Hopkins ran away then and got what he deserved.

He lost fair and square, and he has to live with it.

    :deal

Lewis Holyfield everyone thinks Lewis won by a distance.

calzaghe Hop, 80% of people think Calzaghe won, and the stats even prove this from teh fight.

People that don't think calzaghe won, are eitehr di hard Hopkin fans, or so anti calzaghe, they just latch on to anything to demean him.

For what he has been doing for boxing at his age, its great. I still believe Mosley is accomplishing great things and still has a lot to accomplish and give us great memories. Mosley is fighting guys that are bigger than him at times and also his size at their primes. Hopkins victories are great esp. when he reign at middleweight. But I still feel even though his age is a little factor some of his greatest names have been with guys that have been smaller than him.

    Really?

My ALL TIME favorite fighters list...

    1- Pernell Whitaker
    2- BERNARD HOPKINS
    3- Roy Jones Jr.
    4- Evander Holyfield
    5- Marvin Hagler
    6- JOE CALZAGHE
    etc...

And I had Joe winning a close fight 114-113 (7-5 minus the kd). Ive also scored the fight many times over and have seen it anywhere from 115-112 (8-4) Calzaghe to 115-112 (7-5) Hopkins. Scored correctly, you can EASILY make the arguement...what you cannot easily do is call it NOT a close fight. And even though I will ALWAYS go off of my original score, seeing as how the judges only get one shot at it, we shouldnt second guess ourselves AND them...to say that people who scored an obvious close fight as close are wrong is pompous and incorrect.

I am a HUGE Calzaghe fan who thinks that its arguable that he lost. Just as I am a Holyfield fan who thinks Lennox CLEARLY ****ing beat him in their "draw".

You see, unlike yourself, there are some people out there such as myself who are boxing fans first and foremost, not simply fans of certain fighters...who can look at things objectively. Maybe when you learn the difference between Prime and and old vet...and smashed and won a close decision, you can try being a boxing fan. Until then, keep your biased ass thoughts to yourself.
