Hopkins, is trying to become the oldest World Champion ever when he takes on Jean Pascal for the LHW Championship. Hopkins, will beat George Foreman record by 38 days if he achieves this feat. I say go B-Hop :happy:happy!

That would be amazing feat also considering he'd be dethroning the legitimate champ of the division and not just some paper titlist. I'll probably get banned with how obnoxious I'd be if he pulled it off.

Nope I read in in Ring magazine yesterday. Foreman, holds the record as the oldest man to WIN a World Title. Hopkins, will break his record by 38 days if he beats Jean Pascal.

Archie Moore was 39 when he won his LHW championship.

Sorry, but I can't see him do it... Not because I'm a Foreman fan, but because of B-Hop's last 2 fights and the fact he can't expect a gift in Canada.

    its a technicalityu anyway

surley not losing and keepiong a title till 48 is more impressive or if nard was still MW champ for example being the oldest to wxin it simply means hes lost it already LOL

For boxing's sake I hope BHop loses.. We have a young, exciting LHW champ who actually can draw a crowd? Why would I want BHop to steal his thunder, and then defend his title a year from now in front of 4k in Las Vegas?

I hope Hopkins can pull it off, but I think that Pascal will out work him for a decision.
