It's not that; it's that Hopkins is using his resume as an argument as to why he's going to school Calzaghe...
Yeah I hear you but it's his right. If he thinks he's going to beat Calzaghe because he hasn't faced elite fighters then more power to him. In the end we all know Hopkins is talking **** and looks at his opponents much deeper than just their resume.:good
This is just a provocation chosen at the right time as we are a little bit more than 72 hours away from fight time. Bernard tryin to make Calzaghe's people feel uncomfortable but by descrediting his resumé, he's insulting good british and american fighters. If he wants to play the a**hole and be booed like he was in MSG, let him be. There are persons that can't simply open their mouths without disturbing someone... I expect people getting pushed, slapped and fined at the weigh-in.
This Is Nothing Compared With The Way Europeans Have Been Talking About Bhop. As If The Guy Has Done Nothing. This Is Why Im Glad The Wait Is Almost Over. No More Bs Let Them Get It On.
I have to admit, he is delusional. I would not be shocked if Bernard considered himself a top 5 of all time.
Sure...I wasn't having a go at Hopkins at all. He's just selling the fight. ...The "journalist" though...:verysad :-( :verysad :-( :verysad
There was nothing funny about the interview; just a couple of guys who are deeply rooted in the sport telling the truth. The only part I didn't agree on was what they said about Kessler.
I should have entitled the thread: "Respected fight network interviewers' Q&A with legendary Bernard Hopkins, right, Reg?:blood
