Hopkins/Jones II RbR

I love BHop, but its the first time I have seen a boxer act like a football player to get the W...

 

Hopkins stamina is ****ed and he needed those breaks. He should have been warned for play-acting and lucky not to be DQ'd for that blatant headbutt which cut Jones

 

call me a cynic Kerrminator my good man, but it wouldnt surprise me if that fight was fixed.

It just never felt right.

I thought the 1st rabbit punch was pretty bad... that can have quite an effect especially with the power RJJ through it... Also it doesn't help Bhop beng old as he is.... but yes, I agree Bhop does milk it at times....still one of my favourite characters in boxing.

I still can't believe that there wasn't a cage brought down for the last round. The Undertaker and Hulk Hogan would then interrupt proceedings by clotheslining the goody(RJJ) causing the match to be abandoned.

Hopkins is up there with that brazilian **** Rivaldo (at 2002 world cup) in terms of his acting. Which idiot is going to pay to watch him fight again, the blokes a complete bore and has been for the last umpteen fights.

 

I fell asleep during the 3rd round (yes it was that bad early on, I can't remember the last time I fell asleep during a fight) and it seems I didn't miss much :yep

 

This football type diving in boxing is starting to look all too predictable, Drogba will be taking up the sport next.

Anyway, the fight was one of the worst I have ever had the misfortune to see.
