Hopkins-Jones II

I think the current version of the once-brilliant Roy Jones, resembles a walking, talking corpse of a fighter.

The guy is the epitome of 'shot'.

B-Hop is the much better fighter at this stage of their careers, but who knows, styles make fights, and even though I'm a fan of both men, I would LOVE it if Roy could roll back the years and finish his career on a high note, rather than with another brutal KO defeat.

 

Anyone thinking Roy has a prayer needs to have a long lie down in a darkened room, possibly with a moist cloth on his forehead. Because lunacy has gripped his soul.


I'm utterly disgusted with one of my all-time favourites, B-Hop, for taking this fight. Jones has been shot to **** for almost SIX ****ING YEARS now. I thought it was disgraceful that Calzaghe signed to fight his corpse, and that was before the Green humiliation. I've never been so demoralized with the sport as I was when I heard this woeful match had been signed.

Shame on all involved.

 

A fight I had wanted to see for years but I would rather not see it now as its far too late.

Hopkins will stop Jones almost certainly.

I will still watch the fight but it just won't be the same as what it could have been.

 

I also read that Haye Ruiz is set for the same date ..Does anyone know if they will do a broadcast of that fight as a double header ?That was the rumor but nothing had been confirmed ..If so it makes this debacle of a fight worth watching based on the HW fight ..

 

I keep getting the feeling that this fight won't end up happening. I bet tickets will be overpriced and sales will suck for this thing. And someone will come down with a mysterious injury calling off the fight.

But, sadly, I may go. I'm supposed to be in Vegas for a wedding the day before.

 

Reminds me of Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks gettin it on one last time.

Well, it is a bit late, but it's always great to see two legends stepping in the ring. Glad they are finally squaring off.

 

this fight shouldnt happen this has to do with Hopkins ego I feel. **** it i hope Jones goes out with a good performance.
