Yeah, but, that's the thing. How do we know Hopkins can't cut it at the top anymore? When has he really looked like he couldn't?

Absolutely bull**** fight. People can look at Pacquiao/Mayweather and cry "THIS IS WHY BOXING IS DYING" or whatever nonsense, but it's abysmal fights like this being put on PPV which hurts the sport.

I can't blame Jones. He's as deluded as Holyfield and many other greats who hung around too long. Hopkins though...he should be ashamed of himself. Yeah, you can say he's old but he's still in the P4P lists. There are no excuses for this fight. It's worse than a potential Mayweather/Campbell fight.

1st to know my ass! Boxrec simply jumps the gun and posts fights on its website on the strength of rumors. They happen to get some right from time to time but as far as reliability goes they're dead last on that list.
