Interbox has reserved Bell Center for Lucian Bute, April the 17th. It should be against Edison Miranda. That could be the semi-final.

just saw this. its an insult to boxing fans that this will be on ppv. we would have paid for the rematch 10-12 years ago...now? not so much. Hopkins by wide UD.

    :deal

Hops could've taken on Adamek or a whole string of better opponents, but instead he settles for a shot to death Roy Jones. What the **** are the elite professionals doing these days? :-(

This fight is just plain weird. We finally get to see these 2 rematch but it's about a decade or more too late and it's shocking these two are even fighting still let alone fighting each other. I almost don't want to see it. It will be a reminder how old they are, how old we are, and how much as changed since the good old days.

It actually may be a pretty good fight.

RJJ got caught early last fight, but Hopkins probably won't get to do that to him. RJJ has a very tough style for someone like Hopkins. It's very unorthodox, so it will be hard for Hopkins to set traps.

Who is going to buy this PPV?

This is the problem with boxing. Meaningless crap fight like this get headline and attention while young good boxers can barely get time on ESPN boxing.

This may be interesting, for the genuine dislike amongst them. I don't think Bhops workrate will bother Roy, so could be close.

You clowns can say what you want, but the fact remains...

People will pay to see this fight. And I will be one of them. If it was in Atlantic City, I would go to it. Some of you people are too "knowledgable" about boxig to realize that the common person on the street knows exactly who the **** Roy Jones is. Fewer people know Hopkins, but when they see footage of him with the executioner's mask, and then more footage of him beating the **** out of that Midwestern-MethHead-TomatoCan... People will buy this fight.

And I will be one of them.

    Suit yourself...

But again, you can talk for everyone. I am a boxing fan. I have more than half a brain. And I am going to pay for this fight. ****, I might go to Vegas, for the sake of a good event.

Get your head out of your ass and just enjoy. If not, **** off and watch Grey's Anatomy or some **** that night!

I can't pay for this just for the fact who knows how long Roy will last. He could be KO'd in 30 seconds and I'm not paying for that. The funny thing is I get the strange feeling this will be a good fight, as sad as it all seems to me. I think these 2 have good chemistry in the ring and may, together, turn the clocks back and put on a good show. I think fighting each other will get these 2 up for this fight, unlike they have been for a fight in a long time.

I'll watch the highlights on youtube. Pathetic match up.
For Bernard to take this fight, ****ing rubbish.
For Roy to not recognise he's done, sad.
The fans that will watch this, making the promoters think this is cool, even worse.
