Is a 45 year old Hopkins safe enough for a 41 year old Jones Jr.

I think so. I'm glad I got to heckle B-Hop a little after the Green negotiations brokedown:hey

I can't wait for the third in the trilogy, when they're both in a nursing home and their kids just push the wheelchairs together...

I apologize for both my poor taste and inability to leave it at that, so...

...Then they bring out Joe Cortez's skeleton dressed in his ref suit and sort of do a ventroliquism bit where they move his jaw bone and say "Remember, I'm fair but I'm firm." and they both agree you can TKO the other guy by knocking him out of his wheelchair for more than 3 minutes...

These pair of dicks embarrassed themselves in 02 when they knocked back millions when both were ranked 1 & 2 p4p, now even after RJJ gets sparked by a dud in 1 rd we are supposed to accept this bull****.... another slap in the face to the fans.

PPV is pushing it for sure, but maybe HBO will pick it up? Dont think PPV will do that well, but I think more people will tune in who right now say they wont, especially the older guys.
Is that a tattoo on your arm? Artwork is amazing, but looks painful??

That's the thing. I wouldn't pay for it unless I were a millionaire with it all to spare but I would feel almost obligated to watch it when it's available on HBO or youtube or wherever.

As a big supporter of B-Hop, I'm embarrassed that he has signed for this utterly pointless mismatch. So disappointed in him.

A lot of people would disagree, but I think Hopkins is only second to Floyd Mayweather in this era for pulling ***** moves.

How so? Hes taken some pretty good fights lately. Hes a pain in the ass to negotiate with, but so is Jones Jr.

i know both guys are looking for a big $$ fight as much as they are looking for anything else...but it would seem to me that bhop could find a big money fight that was actually meaningful. he could call bute out, he could call dawson out (i know dawson has a fight lined up now)...

i just don't see how fighting rjj after the danny green fiasco will bring in the same kind of money as one of these more meaningful fights thats out there. hell just think about it...bhop decides to fight rjj after negotiations with the guy that put roy down in 1 breakdown. its kind of a joke actually.

having said that roy has been a favorite of mine since i was a kid and i'm sure i'll watch the fight.

Beyond the money, its pretty obvious Hopkins wants to get Jones in there to beat the **** out of him.

Bad blood, probably feels he has to prove something as a "man".
