I was going to say before watching this that ROy needs to just shut up, cause he really doesn't want to give hopkins anymore motivation. But after watching it, I guess he can't help it -- Hopkins just digs and digs.

It sounds like Hopkins wants to kill Roy in the ring and/or severely hurt him. I don't think that's cool saying his kids won't want anything to do with boxing after he gets through with their dad. That's comes across pretty threatening. Especially considering Jones can get hurt very bad in this fight and any fight for that matter.

I feel for Jones. There is no much personal **** being thrown at him and he's throwing some back, but he's going to have to step back in time about 10 years to back up his words. He's biting off more than he can chew, at least on paper.

My God...I'm thinking real hard, but I can't recall anything as pathetic as Roy Jones Jr. still talking ****...sad. Just sad.

Video quite funny but I worry that the fight will be a boring feint fest.

Agreed. They should post a vegas line on whether or not Jones will make excuses or be a gracious loser in defeat and it'd be a great one to wager.

:lol: That was good. You gotta love boxing... political correctness has **** to do with sport! It's still a clash of men in there. :bbb
Unfortunately, I get the feeling the press conference is better than the fight is going to be. :-(

What Hopkins has done with his life and career is beyond inspiring. He is the only fighter I have ever seen back up the talk each and every time for 20 years. The reason Hopkins wins by 100% KO is it Bernard Hopkins vs a fighter that is no where near what Roy Jones once was. It is so far apart the journeys each man took since 1994. Hopkins main strength are his head and boxing IQ which still has room to go, and that is scary. This man should have a chip on his shoulder as he is never recognized as one of the most underrated athletes in American history. Jones maybe just the opposite. Hopkins has given every human over the age of 30 that thought it is too late or "I am too old" the proof that age is only a number and effects people differently. Roy Jones shows you what is supposed to happen.
If I was a boxing writer there would be no better fighter to speak about yet everyone seems to barely give the acknowledgment that he is indeed a top 50 fighter of all time. Bernard is once in a lifetime I pay 49.95 anytime he is fighting even at 60! Integrity. This is gonna show the fire is still burning strong for Bhop.
