    It's becoming the thing of modern day legend...

    +1 here to those who think Kovalev beats Hopkins. Although, full disclosure, I picked against Hopkins for Calzaghe, Pascal I, Pascal II, Dawson I, Dawson II, and Cloud (yes, I can admit when I look like a jackass, and Cloud did just that for me).

    Kovalev needs to attack aggressively, and plan on breaking Hopkins down, and being the boss in there. If Kov allows Hopkins to lull him into a chess match, and Kov’s activity rate is not high enough, it will leave a window open for Bernard to win. Bernard does not hit very hard at 175— he has never had a stoppage in the division and in fact has not had a stoppage win since the DLH fight in 2004. Kovalev should not be worrying too much about what is coming back at him.

    most of the guys kovalev is beating on look like human statues based on the level of defense they are displaying. hopkins is going to be elusive, he is going to counter, and he is generally going to be fiddling and faddling about for 12 rounds.

    B Hop is NOT your average 50 yr old guy though is he? He's been kicking the asses of your so called heros for years Pavlik, Trinidad etc He took their souls he also took Calzaghes soul & made him rush into retirement to avoid a rematch. Don't sell Bernard short the only person that can beat him is Old Father Time!!!
