Especially when you are fighting decent fighters at the world level. Most guys records have been fattened up that point on (interestingly, Shumenov is an exception, as he went the title route very early). In general, it's very deceiving to try and extrapolate things from fighters records.

Good list, but no way is Vlad's ****** ass a better boxer than Marquiz or Lara.
Bradley doesn't rate higher than JMM either.

How can GGG be even 11 when he has fought no one of note? I mean, is Curtis Stevens in the top 20?
Taking steroids and growing big doesn't place you on a p4p list.

Whilst I agree with the general sentiment, you're one of very few if you think that Cloud beat Campillo in any place other than the judges scorecards.

I'm not about to say that Hopkins' overall legacy is anything other than extradinary, but guys like Cloud, Murat and Shumenov do little to build on it - specially when all three guys were (in the eyes of the majority) beaten by Campillo. In fact, the robberies against Campillo would add 4 to the Ls of BHops last 3 opponents, changing the picture quite significantly.

Bernard is NOT fighting the cream of the division, though.

Why not fight Stevenson or Kovalev?

Like it or not, Pac is fighting MUCH better opposition that Bernard.

I don't have any problem with Mayweather at #1.

Stevenson and Kovalev are not the cream of the division. That honor belongs to Hopkins. Still Hopkins will face Stevenson soon and will become the acknowledged unified champion.

Pac is faced JMM four times, and Bradley twice. He is not facing the fresh cream of the division but rather recycled and damn-near-expired cream. Let Pac face some new talent like Canelo or Lara to further his declined ratings.
