No they're not. Only the special forces (SAS) is considered among the world's elite for what they do, nothing more.

If you want to bring up a debate on military doctrine, power, and strength...I'll be more than happy to school you. The fact is (and not opinion.....review any military related condition report published within the last few decades [start with your own Encyclopeadia Britannica]), the United States military is practically unmatched in terms of strength, technology, resources, and the ability to project into any wartime scenarios on multiple fronts (which NO other country in the world is capable of).

The US Air Force for example, is so far ahead of the nearest competitor, we are basically the only country in the world capable of winning a war via airpower alone (Kosovo).

I can get even deeper into specifics (F-22 vs Eurofighter for example) if you'd like.

 

As a fellow American and an equal opportunity hater, I would like to make some corrections.

- Bush is not a boozer, he was a cocaine fiend who also WAS a boozer.
- Our dollar isn't coming back. All of our manufacturing has left to China, we are a net importer of food, thousands of our professional class workers are replaced by cheaper Indian and Chinese workers. For the professional jobs that are left. Well, they go to India. We are not any better than Mexico or the Philippines now. It would take decades to rebuild our economy.
- Our infrastructure is falling apart. 75% of our bridges will be unusable in the near future, our rail beds are in bad shape and many are over 100 years old.

Don't get me wrong, I would rather be an American because that is what I have been but I am just being frank. We are ****ed in a way. I hope Obama turns things around.

Also, the Euros can be a bunch of arrogant pricks. I have worked with a lot of English and Dutch and all they seem to like to do is talk about what a dump the US is and that gets old very quickly. I hate working with them. (Good thing I am almost retired)

All that said, Calzaghe beats Hopkins minus a crooked ref and judges and the tickets can't sell since we are all so broke boys.

 

I guess if the fight was held at MSG it could have sold more seats!
