Honestly.....I don't really care if the US is #1 or #100. I love America even with all the **** that goes along with it. I just wanted to talk **** bc someone said something derogatory towards the US as a whole. Also, your best university was founded by an Englishman, a certain John Harvard, who himself graduated from Cambridge. It is true that American universities do attract higher funding than anywhere else but that is principally in part due to the patronage they receive.

Nope, they did invent a load of other sports nobody else plays and then have the cheek to call themselves world champions. And the one or two sports they do participate in, they're normally drugged upto the eyeballs (boxing, athletics). And of course they have done wonders for advancing the global cause of obesity awareness
