Hopkins makes u look bad! But compared to Tito, DLH, Taylor, Tarver, Wink, Joe shines

Well... Calzaghe tried to make it into a fight from the very first bell and paid a price for it getting KD. But it was a good fight in the end and because of Calzaghe. I predicted that he might taste the canvas in the process of outpointing Hopkins but I never saw the KD coming so early!

And people say Hopkins is old! He's a genious and it's another Tarver-like situation - because of the way of the fight (syles make fights - it was ugly, slow and ofter dirty) - people will only realize how good Hopkins is at 43 when he meets another big name and easily defeats him. And they have to realizte how good this win was for Joe.


Calzaghe is now stand above the elite in the 160-175 categories. I think the 2 toughest opponents here are Kessler and Hopkins. Let me put it this way: if the 10 best between 160 and 175 fights each other (without Calzaghe), I see Kessler and Hopkins winning most fights, and that has to mean something if you have (an old) Jones, Pavlik, Taylor, Abraham, Mundine, Miranda, Bute, Dawson, Tarver, Johnson, Erdei, Froch, Andrade, Sturm, Winky, Sylvester, Lacy and Tito in these divisions. And now Calzaghe can say he beat Kessler and Hopkins clearly IMO. That's the first time in 15 years that Hopkins lost a fight clear. Still both deserves respect for their performance.
