Mayweather - Although it's a tough call between him and B'Hop. JMM is also obviously skilled, but he gets hit too often in comparison to the former.
people here WAAAAY overate floyds talent, dude lacks pop, speed is horrendously overated at 147, matter of fact, he failed to distinguish himself from an old dlh and hatton in that category. mays defensive skill and ring savy got him where he is, not physical talent. hell if you want a true example of talent, look at rjj, tops the scale in every physical category, wasnt forced to use skill like money may. rant aside, i say hopkins, he visibly a master of both offensive and defensive skill. may nor jmm can claim that.
Easy answer, Floyd.. Just as quick on his feet - as he is with his hands.. Ppl dont give use of the feet - any props at all.. If you watch Mayweather, this is his best asset.
I'd suggest you look at those fights themselves. Then look at the fights I referenced, and see what kind of totals you get in terms of punches landed on each guy. Hopefully this isn't some sort of Boxrec argument you're trying to make here. I smell horse**** to be completely honest. Also, I'd swear you were talking about Floyd.
JMM for me. Hopkins is the most intelligent boxer around today but that does not mean he is the most skilled. Mayweather has not fought the same level of competition as JMM. Fighting the likes of Pacquiao is a nightmare for the most skilled boxer, but JMM did very well twice.
No need to get pissy Jennifer. :rofl I've seen his fights with Mercado, Jones and Wright, and if you dont think he was getting tagged by both Mercado and Jones, I dont know what you are watching. Hopkins wasnt named the "executioner" for nothing. The cute Hopkins didnt come around until he go older.
