    How many aliases have you now got ? :nut, its Popkins today is it, it was Irish84 the other day, then el cipello and Pacfan84 and then dinamita.
    {PS If I have spelt any of your aliases slightly wrong its because I cant be arsed to check}

    It does not matter what rubbish you have written down on your biased scorecard, the fact is Joe Calzaghe beat Bernard Hopkins, get over it and accept Calzaghe as the better man, it is a matter of fact, I know its difficult for you dinamita as you are a deluded fantasist that has several split personality aliases, look you can console yourself, Hopkins tried his best, he got close as close as anyone else, but came up short, he's good, just not as good a boxer as Joe Calzaghe.:lol:

    :lol: **** knows why you guys are trying to pin all this **** on me, but I will happily admit to being McGrain, PowerPuncher, Addie, Headbanger and spud1 if that suits you.

    Hopkins will always be ranked higher in the history books than Calzaghe will. Deal with it.

    After the Eubank title win in '97 Frank Warren asked Enzo Calzaghe who Joe wanted to fight next. Enzo said: "Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses." And for the next 9 years, Warren produced the goods, and Joe delivered the Resume Of Liberty.

    I used to think that, now I'd say he is more lower top 10. Around 7.

    I agree Trinidad is his best win, but I think Hopkins resume is more made up of longevity and consistently beating top 10 contenders. I think in another thread me and Bodhi discovered that only 2 or 3 of Hopkins defences were against fighters outside of the top 10, which is quite impressive.

    The win over Pavlik has to be considered as one of his best, for the circumstances of it and how favoured Pavlik was. But I really do not rate Pavlik, but still regard it as a good win.

    Tarver wasn't that good IMO. I have said before that Hopkins may have fought the two worst lineal Middleweight champions (in Taylor and Pavlik) and Light-Heavyweight champions (in Tarver and Pascal)

    Not necessarily IMO. I think it is the time period in where you are at your best, not necessarily your physical best.

    Nah, Kessler has regressed IMO. His footwork has been terrible lately.

    Against who was Hopkins best middleweight win ?
    Trinidad, Teeto answered it well.

    Against who was Hopkins best ever win ?
    Again, probably Trinidad.

    Is Hopkins an ATG ? {if so top 100 or top 50}
    Yes, definitely top 100 IMO.

    When was Hopkins prime ? {is there much difference prime wise for Hopkins between 25 and 45 ?}

    Probably from when he fought Glen Johnson till the Trinidad fight.

    Yeah, Marciano ducked the big names of his era to fight nobodies like Ezzard Charles and Jersey Joe Walcott.

    Trampie just made this thread to say that Hopkins was prime in 2008 at the age of 43.....what a ****en joke.

    No matter who you are, you can never be prime at the age of 43, sorry. When he fought Calzaghe he was easily about 6 years past his best.

    I have seen every single one of B-Hop's world title fights, and a couple from before that even.

    The best he ever looked in my opinion was Glen Johnson (1997), Echols II (2000) and Tito Trinidad (2001) - aged 32-36.

    I have seen every one of Joe Calzaghe's world title fights (either highlights or the complete fight).

    The best he ever looked in my opinion was Byron Mitchell (2003), Jeff Lacy (2006) and Mikkel Kessler (2007) - aged 31-35.

    And they fought in 2008, when B-Hop was 43 and Calzaghe was 36.

    You do the math!
