B Hop my fav fighter of all time .

But i have to be truthful , i dont see him as one of the greatest MW who ever lived . What great MW has he beaten to solidify himself as a great MW . As much as i admire him , i refuse to lie to myself .

    :patsch

You spastics hear or read something (probably in the tabloids from you know who) and then just repeat it over and over again in the hope that makes it true. You make it sound as if Calzaghe's promoter turned up on Hopkins doorstep with a suitcase full of money to give Hopkins to fight Calzahie and Hopkins ran for the hills. That is not what happened at all.

Trinidad was a top p4p fighter, a 3 weight world champion who held a legitimate middleweight title. He was an elite talent & a 2-1 betting favourite.

Hopkins is not & was never an exceptionally large middleweight. Though he was 6'1 he had a very slim build & he walked around within 10lbs of the divisional limit.

An exceptionally large middleweight wouldn't be able to make 156lb & look healthy at the age of 39, like Hopkins did vs DeLaHoya.

They both weighed the same on fight night too, in fact Trinidad may a have been slightly heavier if I remember correctly.

Hopkins ducked Roy Jones 2 when it was meaningful.. Around the same time he ducked Calzaghe, though I have read that he was getting a bad deal for the Calzaghe fight.

Trinidad was a fair fight IMO, was Tito not favored to beat Hopkins?

Tarver at his best was an elite LHW as well in my opinion.

He didn't duck Calzaghe. People act like the contract was for a Calzaghe fight. It was a three fight deal with Showtime that included a Calzaghe fight last. He didn't like the Showtime deal and said no. Now Calzaghe stans take that and run with it on some dumb ish.

It was a three fight deal with the TV network worth 4m or something like that, part of which would have included a Calzaghe fight (IF Calzaghe himself agreed that is). However, Hopkins was getting shafted with his contract with Don King and would have seen very little of the money, so he walked away.

Jesus Christ man, you are a grown ass man.

Calling another grown man out on his vcash and profile view on an internet forum? The **** is wrong with you?

"Squealing like a little pig to the mods"... May I ask how old you are?

These kinda forums, somewhat useless already, are made completely unenjoyable by people like yourself. Every couple weeks maybe I'll check this because it's hard to find knowledgeable boxing people out in the "real world", but those days are coming to an end because people like you that cannot simply enjoy some boxing news without acting like a child.

My biggest problem with B-Hop is after the Roy lost he missed some real good comp at 160 & 168. G-Man, James Toney, Julian Jackson, Nigel Benn, Cris Eubank, the list goes on and on.

Hopkins was robbed blind against Calzaghe, that was one of the worst decisions I've seen..
He beat a weight drained Tarver?
Wasn't Tarver a the reigning champion at 175?
Did he have any fights above 175 prior to the Hopkins fight?
Trinidad proved he was an elite middleweight by wiping the floor with Joppy, it wasnt like Trinidad moved straight up & fought Hopkins in his first fight at 160.
How can you say Winky Wright was shot when he was beating world class opponents with ease & the only blemish on his recent record prior to the Hopkins fight was a draw with the man that beat Hopkins in Taylor.
