On April the 20th people will look back and think what a farce the fight was.

What moron tries to take on Calzaghe aged 43 when he was scared to (with good reason) for the past 8 years?

You were comparing Sakio Bika to Bernard Hopkins so you are the only moron here. Next you will be telling us Mario Veit is a world class fighter. There is no way the WBO boy is going to batter Hopkins even if he does win. Kessler is not on the same level as Hopkins, they are leagues apart even now. Kessler is good at what he does but is one dimensional & couldn't adapt himself against Calzaghe.

Mikkel Kessler is miles better than Hopkins at the moment

    Don't reply then?

I think you'll be suprised come April, at firstly how poor this version of Hopkins is, and secondly how well Kessler did

It's not exactly as far fetched as you make it sound. Kessler was fresh, powerful and had everything to gain. Hopkins has looked **** poor.

You are far too emotionally attatched you drama queen ;)

That's your problem. Hopkins is a fools bet in this matchup, given their recent performances

No more than you are to Joe. You know they say one definition of insanity is doing the same thing over & over but expecting a different result. This is how I feel with you lot. The fight is set anyway so it's not as if we wont get answers soon. I might stay off the forum for a while it's getting pretty boring reading the same childish **** all the time. Cant believe there is a thread running about how boxers would fair against street fighters. ffs.

You sound disillusioned with ESB life

Grab a coffee. Sit back. Relax

It's pretty easy to avoid the threads you don't like

  10. Good post! that fight was in South America waaaaaaaaayy back in 95, Hopkins will not get stopped by Cali but at 43 no way in hell is he going to be able to keep up the blistering pace, JC will establish, Jc will have to win very convincingly to get a decision in the U.S, IM RELUCTANT TO PUT $$$ ON THIS..

Hey bud, chill out a bit. :D

China Hand Joe is amazing poster here, and has very good knowledge of the sport.

Half of what he says is "tounge in cheek", and funny as hell.

Don't try & patronise me please. This site is just a brief respite where I hoped to talk boxing with like minded fans but instead it's just a place where fanbois squabble. You really can be a grade a ***** sometimes.:good

Nope I think it's just unamusing childish nonsense that just helps perpetuate the playground mentality on this "boxing" website.

I'm a big b-hop fan. However, he had a hard time dealing with Winky. Winky is a natural 154 fighter and B-hop could not even hurt him and landed very fiew counter rights. His punchs were slow and his legs were gone. I have no idea how u think that B-hop is going to beat Calzaghe. Joe is to fast for him. Plus Joe's defence is also very good. If Taylor beat him bye throwing lots of punchs what is going to happen when Calzaghe does the same thing to B-hop. Joe will beat B-hop and thats just the way it is.
