Bernard Hopkins, still boxing while working as a director of Golden Boy, Khan's, US promoters, said: 'I've never seen anything like this - a 23-year-old boy coming to America and turning on the speed, power and movement of the complete professional in his first fight over here. Incredible.'

Even Malignagi's promoter, Lou DiBella, raved: 'Your boy is great. So quick, so much power, such charisma. As a fan I would pay to watch him every time he comes to fight over here and I'm sure the same is true of every American who saw this live or on television. He's a star.'

    Charisma......?

In any event, Hopkins is a golden boy puppet.

BTW what happened to the deep rooted hate between Hopkins and DiBella? Yesterday they were 2 seats apart with only Shaefer in between them. Also, I thought Hopkins and Shaefer had a fall-out?

Paulie might of been alittle past it, but even in the first 2 rounds Khan was beating Paulie to the punch. Khan did impress me and even tho he hasn't fought an elite 140lb puncher yet, I still think he is much, much improved since the Prescott fight and even if he does get beat by Bradley, Alexander, Ortiz, or Maidana Khan is going to be very tough to beat. That loss to Prescott and the tutelage under Roach has only made him a better fighter and bringing out his full potential. I wouldn't be surprised if he would upset any of top 140lbers. He has what it takes to beat anyone of them and to take Khan for granted would be a huge mistake.

Lou DiBella in another interview said something along the lines of: "That kid just answered all the questions I had about him"

Paulie wasn't ****ing past it. He was the same fighter that stepped in against Cotto, Hatton, Diaz, et all. His strengths in this fight were taken away by the fact that Khan was stronger in every area.

The only advantage Paulie has over Khan is the chin, yet I think at 140 and with the experience he's gaining, Khan will display a better chin than the one that's shown so far.

The guy is an amazing fighter, has speed, power, intelligence and is in a position to tear up at 140 and is big enough that 147 will be an easy enough step for him too.

He's a guy who in 3 or so years could be on the cards to fight and beat Mayweather as Mayweather slows and Amir enters his prime.

ok folks ,good win but c'mon...malignaggi had no chance...he talked the talked and got a good pay and khan basically duped fans into thinking he was fighting some elite jww who has no pop and physically at a major disadvantage....i think the first fighter with solid pressure and a good punch would trouble khan...i would like him to fight peterson then a better gauge of his skills can be assessed
