A strategist, a tactician, and a true OG.

Nazim is a real student of the sport, much like Eddie Mustafa Muhammed.

Two black americans that never get the recognition someone like Eddie Futch or Freddie Roach gets, or even Kevin Rooney who really only had one shot at stardom.

I'd like to say Kevin Cunningham aswell, the guy is a wizard.

:thumbsup I like Kev too! The best trainers are also very humble that's why they make the headlines in the gym not in the media.

Who's the teacher? Nazim or Bouie Fisher? I thought Bernard was his own real trainer after he split with his old trainer... I give credit to Nazim for the advice on the Tarver fight though.

Tim Bradleys trainer is also very good, the advice he gives in the corner is always exactly what im thinking and are spot on.

I totally agree , look at many of todays corners and the advise is plain terrible , 'get in there' and 'hit him' , where as Nazim is clear , direct and also adapts through a fight. A trainer I do think is overated is mayweather snr, very confusing , his advise to Hatton in the Manny fight after the first round was 'be first , but see what he does'???

Just kidding, but Eddie, Kevin and Nazim are very good trainers.

Or guys like Emanuel stewart. Nazim is one of the TOP trainers in the sport and he gets A LOT of props. Eddie Futch and Freddie get the accolades they deserve based on their accomplishments and Nazim is right there with him at the moment. Or just a little behing Freddie given the incredible career he's helped Manny attain. Mustafa is a good trainer as well but he's not on the level of guys like Roach, Nazim or Stewart.

I doubt you said it to get reactions, you are not american, so its understandable that you do not fully understand the usage of that word. I just found it funny that you called nazim an "og" because hes black and talks hood....

A real OG is somone like Don King

King's first profession was in the illegal numbers business in Cleveland. In December 1954, King shot and killed one of three men trying to rob one of his gambling houses. Prosecutors determined King was defending himself and declared the death a "justifiable homicide."
Twelve years later, also in Cleveland, King beat a man to death who owed him money on the streets of Cleveland. Although convicted of second-degree murder, the trial judge (for reasons unknown) reduced the conviction from murder to manslaughter. Not only did King serve a short term of 3 1/2 years, he would receive a pardon from then Ohio governor James Rhodes.
